As part of the company’s continuous improvement and cost optimization strategy, several initiatives are being implemented to reduce operational expenses while enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

One of the major steps taken is the reduction in paper consumption across operational activities. Printed copies of equipment checklists have been removed and replaced with digital alternatives, ensuring the same level of control and compliance while eliminating unnecessary printing.

In addition, the traditional practice of distributing printed discharging stow plans has been discontinued. These plans are now accessed digitally through Samsung tablets (HHTs), enabling real-time visibility, easier access for operational teams, and improved accuracy during vessel operations.

Another important initiative currently in progress is the removal of printed EIR copies provided to shipping lines. This transition is under development in collaboration with the IT Department, with the objective of delivering EIR reports electronically, further reducing paper usage and manual handling.

Furthermore, the printing format for Gate TID and EIR documents is being optimized by shifting from A4 paper to thermal printing. This ongoing initiative is expected to reduce printing costs, speed up gate transactions, and support more efficient document handling.
