We are delighted to advise you that over the last few days we are seeing a very large number of containers being released indicating the end of the delays due to the new Customs Electronic System start up. The good news is that customs duty on many items has significantly reduced which should stimulate even more import in the future. Of course, over the next few days deliveries maybe delayed a few hours due to the enormous amount of activity occurring to catch up for the low level of operations from the past three weeks.
BGT is working with IPA and Customs to ensure we get the delivery time back to the normal quick dispatch over the next few days.
