As most of you are aware, today the Iraqi Customs introduced an electronic documentation system throughout all ports and borders in Iraq to ensure a common method of documentation and charges at all ports and borders.
This has caused some confusion but for many goods the tariff has actually reduced so there is a delay expected for a few days as the new system is implemented and then we expect clearance to revert to normal.
