BGT celebrated Ramadan by holding an Iftar party for customers and staff in the last week of Ramadan. The Iftar was held in Basra on 25th April for our valued Shipping Agents, Port Authorities and important clients. It gave an excellent opportunity for BGT management and staff to interact with relevant stakeholders in an informal setting by sharing Iftar- i.e. the breaking of the fast at sundown. In addition, BGT also celebrated Staff Iftar held for our 400 employees at BGT berth 21 warehouse. This was BGT’s first Iftar dinner for all employees in a long time due to coronavirus restrictions. All the staff gathered to break their fast and celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together. The employees were appreciated by the management and this was followed by delicious Iraqi cuisine, that was devoured by all.
