BGT implemented Navis for its general cargo business in order to improve and digitise the processes, billing workflow and terminal operations. As the general and project cargo increases, the implementation of General Cargo Navis module will help improve customer experience and efficiencies through increased access to timely data and performance metrics. It will also provide customers with real time access to cargo handling status, billing information, and vessel data.
BGT has been using Navis for Containers business since 2016. The implementation of general cargo module was a natural extension which will provide end-to-end solution to optimise all cargo business and terminal operations in one system.
