Another proud milestone for Basra Gateway Terminal to ensure we offer an even better service to our valued customers.
Today at 1400hrs, the vessel "De Bo 3" arrived at Berth 27 carrying seven brand new RTG cranes for BGT, taking the number of terminal RTGs to 10. The new RTGs, manufactured by ZPMC, have the capability to handle containers into stacks six containers high. The arrival of the new equipment coincides with Phase 2 of the greenfield project which includes the construction of berth 25 and 26, which will complete in the second half of the year."
