محطة بوابة البصرة تكسر رقماً قياسياً في الإنتاجية

سجلت محطة بوابة البصرة (BGT) مؤخرًا رقماً قياسياً جديداً في الإنتاجية مع المناولة الأخيرة لواحدة من أكبر سفن الحاويات لزيارة ميناء أم قصر.

خلال وصول باخرة Yang Ming Mutuality في 24 من نوفمبر الماضي ، سجلت محطة بوابة البصرة رقمًا قياسيًا جديدًا للإنتاجية من خلال إكمال إجمالي 1768 حركة في 17.5 ساعة.

BGT’s impressive productivity and performance is possible due to International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTS) USD250 million investment in the Port of Umm Qasr.  This includes the acquisition of three post-Panamax quay cranes, the largest port equipment in the country. With these cranes, BGT is the only terminal operator in Iraq capable of efficiently handling 14,000 TEU container vessels.
