Please find below announcement from General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI) regarding Coronavirus.
“All procedures and precautionary measures to be taken into account to prevent Coronavirus from spreading to our borders and ports. All ports have to make sure that the captains of the vessels which visited one of the Chinese ports last 30 days, and 3 days before arrival to the first port, the captain has to advise the port authorities of the status of the crew and no one suffering from symptoms of the virus.
In case there is a suspicion that any of the crew carries the symptoms, ports and relevant entities have to inform health centres before allowing the vessel to proceed to the port and wait for further instructions.’’

نرجو أن تجدوا مرفقاً الرسالة الرسمية من الشركة العامة لموانئ العراق حول فيروس الكورونا و أسفله محتواها :
في إطار الجهود الرامية لإتخاذ الإحتياطات و الإجراءات الأحتزازية لمنع انتشار فايروس الكورونا الى المنافذ الحدودية و الموانئ البحرية يجب على جميع الموانئ التأكد من السفن التي زارت أحد الموانئ الصينية في آخر 30 يوم قد قامت و قبل وصولها أول ميناء بثلاث أيام على الأقل بتقديم بيان من ربان الباخرة بخلو أفراد الطاقم من أي اعراض مرضية اشمل ( إرتفاع درجة الحرارة – التهاب الحلق – السعال المستمر و صعوبات في التنفس و غيرها من الأعراض ) التي قد تشير غلى الإصابة بفيروس الكورونا الجديد، و في حالة الإشتباه بأي من أعراض الفيروس على أحد أفراد الطاقم يجب على الموانئ و الجاهات ذات العلاقة ابلاغ الدوائر و المراكز الصحية قبل السماح للسفينة بدخول الميناء و انتظار تعليماتها"
