Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) held its annual stakeholder meeting at the Grand Millennium Hotel in downtown Basra last February. Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI head of Europe, Middle East and Africa; Romeo Salvador, BGT chief executive officer; and Marko Miskovic, BGT commercial head, spearheaded the meeting with representatives of local shipping line agents, IPA and customs officials. The annual gathering serves as BGT’s gesture of appreciation for its partners, as well as an engagement opportunity for discussions of future business plans and sustainability projects.
